Coleman Printing was originally started in a garage in East Peoria by Coleman Bullington in the 1950s. He operated out of the E. Johnson St. address until he retired in 1981. His main customers were ABC Washing Machines, Hagerty Steel and TPW Railroad.
In 1978 Larry Dunn started Forms Design Plus. With years of experience working for Burroughs Corporation in the forms division, he built this company into a successful forms business. He was approached by Coleman Bullington in 1981 about buying Coleman Printing. They reached an agreement and Coleman Printing was purchased by Larry Dunn. The business moved to its present location on War Memorial Drive and operated under Forms Design Plus/Coleman Printing until 2012.
Jeff Brockamp began his printing career as a bindery worker and letterpress operator at Art and Print. Over the years he worked at various locations as a production worker, planner and estimator, eventually ending up as plant manager at Edward Hine Company.
After the closing of Edward Hine in 2011, Jeff was looking for an opportunity. He met with Larry Dunn who was looking toward retirement. They worked out an agreement and Jeff purchased the business. In April of 2012 he became the new owner of Coleman Printing Company.
Coleman Printing has a long standing reputation in the Peoria area as a full service print provider. We hope to continue to build that reputation for many years to come.
